In short: AZFit lets strength and hybrid coaches programme lifts, have athletes log every set, rep and kilo, see gym and conditioning load in one number, and read recovery from HRV and sleep. Free with one athlete; $29.99 a month for 25.
Programme and log
- Build sessions from an exercise library with how-to cues and demonstrations, or add your own lifts.
- Athletes log every set — reps, load and effort — and personal records are tracked for them.
- A strength session is always logged by the athlete: no wearable can record sets, reps and weight, so AZFit never pretends one did.
Gym and conditioning in one number
Hybrid athletes lift and run, and the two interfere. AZFit counts every session in one load (minutes × effort), flags weeks where hard legs and hard intervals collide, and shows when volume has jumped faster than the athlete can absorb.
Read recovery
HRV, resting heart rate and sleep against each athlete’s own baseline, combined with load and how hard the same work is feeling, give a named state — and a concrete change, like cutting working sets by 15% for a week.
Feed the work
Protein, carbohydrate and fat periodised to the training day, not one fixed target — plus fluid and electrolytes after a hard session. Zoobia writes a weekly read on every athlete and a note on every completed workout.
Free with one athlete. $29.99 a month for 25, $49.99 for 50, $69.99 for 100 — nutrition, payments and the app included.
Common questions
Can I add my own exercises?
Yes. Build from the library or add your own lifts, with your own cues.
Does a smartwatch complete a strength session?
No, on purpose. A watch cannot record sets, reps and load, so the athlete logs the session themselves and you see exactly what was lifted. Runs and rides from a watch are completed automatically.
How do you spot overreaching in the gym?
When the same prescribed work starts costing more effort, heart-rate variability sits below the athlete’s baseline and sleep is short, AZFit names it and suggests the cut — usually fewer working sets at the same loads for a week.
