Where TrainingPeaks is stronger
- Device sync. More than 100 watches, bike computers and apps connect directly — Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, COROS, Suunto, Zwift, Apple Watch — including sending structured workouts to them.
- The Performance Management Chart (CTL, ATL and TSB) — the load model most endurance coaches learned on.
- A large athlete community already on the platform, and a marketplace of training plans.
Where AZFit is different
- A coaching business, not only a training log — your website with free trials and prices, your app in your colours, and athletes paying you directly.
- A recovery read. HRV, resting heart rate and sleep against each athlete’s own baseline, combined with load, into a named state — functional or non-functional overreaching, detraining — and the change to make.
- Zoobia writes a weekly brief on every athlete and a note on every completed session.
- Fuelling per session — carbohydrate, fluid, sodium and potassium before, during and after, scaled to bodyweight and effort.
- Hybrid athletes — running, riding, swimming and lifting in one load number, with the gym sets and reps logged properly.
- Structured workouts still go to the watch: AZFit exports .fit for Garmin and Wahoo and .zwo for Zwift.
Which to choose
Choose TrainingPeaks if your athletes already live there and direct device sync matters most. Choose AZFit if you want to run the whole coaching business in one place at one price, and want the recovery and fuelling picture worked out for you.
